My Sis has this picture and she's trying to figure out where it's a painting of!

Long shot buuut any clues people?!

Looks like London because of the lamp post, don't know if they are unique to London though.

Judging from people's dresses, it's not modern.

St paul has a dome, but remember if this picture is from a while ago then the buildings could have been destroyed.

I quite like it. It has a continental redolence to me, especially as at least one roof hints at being rendered in the Mansard style. Those two dainty, pallid domes remind me of something, too. Oh yeah, a giant pair of ****.

What's the artist's name? I can't quite figure out the signature.

Possibly Montmartre, Paris.

This one is similar - has the domes and the same lampposts.

Looks like Paris, building at the back could be part of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

no it couldn't... it would require other buildings to be a bit closer... also Iowa likely doesn't have lots of streets/other buildings that look like those in continental Europe
