Netgear N600 and Sky Fibre..?

Hi all.

I have been given a brand new Netgear N600 (WNDR3400) router.

I am with Sky fibre unlimited and want to replace the Sky router with this one for the parental controls it has.

Before I waste hours of compatibility issues....will it work..?

I know there are some guru`s on here and would just like a solid answer or a work around..

Hi, yes if your non sky router has to be MER capable -MAC Encapsulated Routing (RFC 1483 MER).

Sky Fibre user my self.

They are supposedly moving from MER, but just make sure the device can support it (and you'll need it as long as they use it.). Also, you do know in order to use the router, you need the @skydsl details that are in your Sky router? Plenty of places to look for help there though, like this.
