Those who have managed to reach the elusive 5 GHz may wish to post in here.

Post screenshots with CPU-Z and at least a 1M SuperPi run.

You must also provide a CPU-Z validation link with your OCUK username included.

You may also include other benchmarks and tests if you wish but the above is the minimum requirement.

All the best!

My G3258 can run wprime32 at 4.5 Ghz at 1.19v on air cooling

Temps went up to around 53

I ran SuperPi 32m at 4.7 Ghz with a bit more volts but 5Ghz with this chip wont happen under air

Cooled it with LN2 max valid was 5759 Mhz

And here's the mandatory SuperPi 1m run at 5658 Mhz ;)

Try SuperPi 1m with affinity set to just one of the cores, you might get a run in at 5Ghz :)
what is affinity? also when i do superpi at lower frequency it seems to give my score to the nearest second, instead of with the decimal places, i get 7sec every time, any idea why that is? :(

SuperPi only uses one core so you can set it to either core 0 or core 1

Open SuperPi then go to task manager

Right click the Superpi process and set affinity to core 0 or 1

You will need the SuperPi / 1.5mod version, download from http://downloads.hwbot.org/downloads/benchmarks/super_pi_mod.exe
that is much better. i was crashing at 5 seconds at 5ghz before. thanks for the help sir! i've done a bit of tweaking with the Uncore as well and it flys! not far behind people on ln2 :D

We managed to do 4.7GHz at 1.375 on air, but we had BSOD just after SuperPi 1M has finished, no way this chip would hit 5GHz...

Some pics, the temps were really low though :/

When we turned the fans to 100% the temp went down to 10c :D and mobo was 8c. The GPU was at 9/10c.

more volts!

We tried lots, 1.388, 1.4, 1.45, 1.50, 1.58 and 1.60 the PC wouldn't bootup :p

We're planning on redoing this soon, we didn't have enough time to play around with the GPU as it was slowly getting dark and it was freezing outside. :D

Edit:

I can't remember now if we hit 4.7GHz with 1.375 or 1.388.. hmm.
