This game is pretty and has an in-game benchmark :D Why not have a benchmark thread for it then I thought, so here we are. No bickering please and keep it on topic.

Setting to be maxed with ultra set as per the images and add the high res DLC by following this guide.

'steam://install/311670
Paste that in your browser. Install will fail.
Right click the game, go to properties, and DLC tab. It'll be there, check it and let it download.'

For those that have SLI, run nvinspector and add the F.E.A.R 3 profile to the sli bits and add the game.exe to the profile to get SLI running.

Also, I installed the HD pack and it didn't appear to add anything to performance hits or VRAM usage.

Ohhh and just to add, I ran it at 200% (which is 5K?) and that used 5.7GB of VRAM. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some caching going on (as seen by Rankftw's results).

Made a video showing vram use at 1440p on a 980, all settings Ultra and motion blur off. I use GSYNC so the changing fps doesn't bother me. Did a couple of runs and they were both within 1 fps of each other.

Be aware they if you selected Ultra before installing the Ultra textures then your game is more than likely still showing the 'high' textures.

I think you have to install textures, reload the game and cycle through them again.
