ABC1 TV Channel to close in 1 months time

I've never noticed ridiculous numbers of ad breaks, just very strangely placed ones!

I haven't watched the channel in a while. Used to flick over to watch Scrubs but I've seen them all now.

Used to watch it a lot but the Sheila's Wheels sponsor thing that came on constantly drove me away.

Oh that sucks, ABC1 is one of my favourite channels

. It's about the only one I have that I can leave on constantly in the background without something I don't like coming on.

Used to watch scrubs on it whenever I was flicking, or 8 simple rules in the same circumstances.

Just easy to watch, mostly funny stuff.

Just delete the channel from the list? Its what i've done with uktv gold and similar channels.

Not fussed about abc1 going though. Scrubs is on e4 and e4+1 regularly and sometimes on film4 + 1 now thats not actually film4 +1. 8 simple rules and hope and faith are shockingly bad US "comedy", and like any trash, they should be scrapped.

lets hop it will be replaced with someone committed to investing in proper programming unlike abc 1

unfortunately it'll probably be either a shopping, quiz or yet another +1 channel

I didn't mind ABC1, until my fiancee's brother had it on all the time, and even though I avoided watching it, I think I still managed to see every episode of the shows. The only one worth watching was Scrubs, available on other channels.

ABC1 is a quality channel ... now there will be nothing on worth watching between 5pm and 6pm!

It also used to show reruns of Sports Night which is one of my all time favourite sitcoms ...

I like ABC1 as well - nothing like a mindless sitcom to make me forget about the rest of the day.

I purchased the Sports Night DVD boxset as a result of seeing it on ABC1!

How hard is it to find a pic. Go to IMDB, type in scrubs, find out who plays Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke) then google away.

If you don't think she's the hottest your... well even gay guys would say she's the hottest. Fair enough all the ones you listed are hot. But not the hottest.
