Fancy Dress.

This year, the Christmas do has a fancy dress theme and it is a must. I have decided on going as Colonel Gadaffi or similar tinpot dictator.

I have some garish epaulettes and medal ribbons on the way courtesy of Ebay but will need some other items such as khaki shirt, trousers, staff officer collar ribbons and such like. Below is the look I am going for ....

Does anyone know any decent military suprlus stores that might sell such things ?

At one time you used to be able to get stuff like that from Army and Navy stores. Don't know if they are still around or not? Maybe Singers?

The army surplus store nest to the old fire station in town (you are a gerodie aren't you?) has some fantastic officer apparel (although its not that cheap)

A costume for Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf must be easy to get hold of. Just a plain dark green uniform, a beret and the odd badge.
