which services can i disable on vista?

hello there, which services and exe's can i get rid of on vista to optimise it as there is so many running processes.

all i need vista for is directx10 games, nothing else so i can disable 100% everything that wont effect games.

please list anything that ican disable thanks

You see, you need all these services running to stop you having spyware, virus and hackers from when you visit all those dirty illegal websites. Forget about performance, your pc must be 100% clean of these things, who knows what could happen, so backup your files anyway.

i wont be using the internet on vista, and if i do it will only be for games, and even then if i do pick up somthing i can just freshly install vista its no fuss to me

Cheers Kezmo. I used BV for XP service tweaks many moons ago. IIRC he stopped doing it for a while. Glad to see he's back. Very helpful info
