2012 Stadium design to be released today...

I expect it will be an appalling, second rate but overpriced piece of crap designed by poncey architects with their pretentious noses up Sebs arse. It will be built by Poles so why don't we let them have the games.

I am really looking foward to the unmitigated disaster that the Olympic Games will be in this country.

They better get a move on it took them 7 years to build Wembley.

The Olympics games should have been in Brum/Man, just because London is the capital plus London has already had the Olympic games.

Is it just me or have you been a grumpy ******* lately?:p

And yes, architects these days seem to be really crap at designing things that stand out in a good way:(

It doesnt look bad but not breathtaking like some of the new stadiums.

The BBC article goes on about the 'temporary seating' that will be taken out after the games have finished, turning the 80,000 seater into a 25,000 capacity. Can't help but wonder how they're going to perform such a massive change without making the stadium look a mess! Maybe it says something about the pulling power of athletics ;)

Its just a flimsy looking Estádio do Maracanã, it looks crap, Doesnt look like it will offer much cover from the rain.
