Wednesday Nights Game.- England - Croatia *SPOILERS*

Dont think we're going through, All the Police control rooms have the game on they're telling me how shocking they are :(

Big difference between this lot and the rugby team is when the **** hit the fan after the first couple of games for the rugby team in the world cup the players got together and said to themselves the tactics are not working lets do it our own way, they then got to the final through hard work and passion.

This football team have not got the grey matter between them to be able to do that.
 
God that 1st half was like a bad nightmare, so many bad points in untrue. I just hope someone talks some sense in the dressing room at half time, might as well use all 3 subs, its all or nothing now.

Bring Beckham, Hargreaves and a striker on. Go back to 4-4-2, its time for the team to get their heads up and play.

It just shows though what a state English football is in from the top to the bottom. These are fundamental skills that any decent player should have from an early age. Maybe a bit harsh to have a go at SG because to be fair he is not the only one incapable of hitting the right man 1st time
 
This is looking ominous, has there ever been a euro championship without england, scotland, wales, NI and ROI? :eek:
 
Should this go wrong and we go out, pray it doesn't, McClaren won't resign, he has no dignity.

He took the job knowing full well he wasn't first choice, yes it is a big job but please Steve do the right thing!
 
It's been an extremely frustrating game to watch on England's part - they have been far too calculated about what to do and when to do it. Best illustrated by the overuse of long and angled balls to Crouch. Yes the pitch is in poor condition, especially on the wings, but there has to be more impetus to get beyond and behind Croatia from here.

That's the only part of the visitor's game that's look vulnerable. It seems that Wright-Phillips (and Bridge when he overlaps) have not been effective in achieving this. This has not been aided by the central midfield's inability to distribute effectively. Cue Beckham and Hargreaves for Wright-Phillips and Barry.

Like weringo said he's not a great set-play taker but he's more than capable of beating the first man. Seemingly everything is going wrong today.
