Martyn certainly. He should've been in ahead of Seaman a couple of years before he was.

Robinson was a quality keeper when he came in. He's made mistakes and that has bothered his form. When he first came in he was ace.

Amen to that.

I would not care if we didn't qualify if I felt like we (the team, manager, etc) had tried their hardest, but this lot really don't deserve to get there. I almost want them not to qualify as punishment.

Everyone has had their mistakes. What people forget is that if a striker messes up, they don't score.

If the midfield messes up the play isnt made/it falls back to the defence/possession is lost.

If the defence messes up, theres still the keeper.

If the keeper messes up, it's nearly always a goal, and they get ten times the stick for it.

Playing an inexperienced keeper in an important international :confused: and I thought Wembley had an automated roof?
 
One thing abot Beckham, he'll work himself stupid. I would imagie it's been pretty hard going for SWP - heavy pitch and he's ran twice as far as the rest of the team put together.
 
Agreed mclaren is just loving the salary and knowing the FA they'd even refuse his resignation lmao

Martyn was a good keeper but certainly not of the standard of a top international side. Ive never been impressed with Robinson, good shot stopper but nothing more than that.

Stop Beckham crossing the ball and his contribution will be virtually zero.

Is Defoe going to get on the end of any cross, unlikely as he he 5 foot nothing.

If Crouch gets onto the end of the cross you still have the issue of heading backwards or into space, we need the midfield pushing on.
