Imitation Samurai swords too be banned!!

No I was making a point as some deluded people here seem to think a sword is more deadly than a gun
it is  a hand gun holds 9-11 bullets as standard. A sword has unlimited ammo. Also a wider field of damage. The reason most stab victims survive is it's not a sustained attack. It's one or two stabs and usually into fleshy parts.

A sword can be much more devastating than a gun in a confined area.

Well then explain why no one died in the Sword attack at the church yet 32 people died from the gun attack at the vTech college in America

People here really are chatting some dribble :p

What a pathetic argument, come back when your talking sense rather than clutching at straws!!

how is that pathetic? i mearly asked you a question,on average 9 people die a day because of cars, should we ban them because for this?

if 0.0137 deaths per day is enough to justify a sword ban then surly 9 is enough to ban cars?

oh and 14 people where killed intentionally with cars in 2006 (from your pdf again) so that means they are nearly 3 times as effective as a murder weapon.

No I was making a point as some deluded people here seem to think a sword is more deadly than a gun  And use that absurd argument when arguing against the gun ban!!

The BBC report has clearly showed that the weapon in question has already killed AT LEAST 5 people and wounded over 80 in the space of about a year! Just one attack is too many for me as I value human life greatly!

There are many things that cost more than 5 lives a year though, where will it end? You've given no evidence that the ban will do anything to reduce this figure, so what is the point in the legislation?

because the police man reading the psalms had a giant organ pipe.

Yeh perhaps you should stop chatting then. A sword in a confined area is much more devastating than a hand gun. Just because you believe movies. It doesn't work like that in real life.
He also had an ak47, which is not a hand gun and can carry many more bullets.

Would you prefer it we stopped chatting dribble and posted pictures instead? ;)

Not at all I don't drive but understand that it's an integral part of modern society UNLIKE a ruddy sword or Gun

ohhhhhhh so because most people use one its fine?

I'm sure that will be of comfort to the relatives of those 3600+ people

Also what's with the constant capsloc for words? You 12 or new to the internet?

lol
Unless your some sort of samurai MASTER then a gun is far more dangerous in pretty much any situation. Hence why when people go on sword killing spree's the death tolls if at all are low compared to 35, 32, 21 ....etc ...etc which ARE death tolls of killing spree's using GUNS!
Now your splitting hairs and being pedantic with the 'type' of gun  A sure indication that your argument is weak tbh.

But the majority of people owning swords and guns don't go using them on other people (talking civilians here not soldiers.)

I don't own a gun or sowrd and don't want to, but don't see the harm in letting responsible adults choose to own them.

By all means have tighter restrictions, but an all out ban is just another step to this government destorying more freedoms.

lol, their you go again with the petty insults / digs. What were you saying about that earlier ???? You really are a hypocrite with no integrity!!

I'll point it out for you then:

The Home Office estimates there have been some 80 attacks in recent years involving Samurai-style blades, leading to at least five deaths.

:/

You take a sword to a nightclub, I'll take a gun and some extra bullets and we'll see who gets more kills, yes? ;)

So what was the problem with the other purposal. of keeping all guns on gun ranges. Heavy security and unable to remove from the range.

That would mean dumblane couldn't of happened with legal weapons and that people could still participate in there sport.

That's the biggest problem. A ban should be the last resort. There where several other options that would have kept the public safe whilst keeping the sport going.
