Agreed, i noticed a lot of updated titles on live look worse than the original, but you usually get a choice between original or updated graphics

Would still be a good game to play but I think COD4 and such like will make it seem crap.

Activision own the bond rights and Nintendo owns the goldeneye code, No one else but Nintendo can release goldeneye and even they would need Activision agreement to do that.

Why? It'd be incredibly dated if it was released untouched. I have very fond memories of the game when it was out - sadly i doubt it would have the same effect this time round. They should definitely spruce it up.

I'd like the exact same game without the slowdown.

Apparently Activision don't need Nintendo's permission to release it but because they have such a good relationship with them they asked them first and they just said no, so Activision not wanting to sour things with Nintendo decided against it.

I recently bought an N64 again for this game alone! Can't see it coming to xboxlive any time soon at all really. Wish it would though, but at the same time I kind of don't.

Couldn't they just change the name, altar all the bond exclusive features in there, and just have multiplayer? I know it wouldn't be the same, but i think it's suck ass if it a identical copy anyway.

The only way I see this working is if there is some agreement and it comes out on both Xbox and Wii.

I just dug out my N64 and set it up on my 32" Toshiba LCD.

This game is definately best as a memory. Now it seems so crap after games like COD4. Each level can be done in about 2mins and the autoaim is frankly stupid, it autoaims someone about a mile away and you cannot miss

The controllers feel rubbish too.

I guess now we have been spoilt

So did I, £18 for a 64 with 5 games. Will also agree with Simon, it looks horrid on a 32" LCD. However after playing it for abit its still enjoyable, all I need now is some extra pads for multiplayer goodness. Would love to see it reborn on live, facility vents + mines + afew mates = win
