If i was to do this in the rush hour, to get there by 9am is there a chance of doing it in less than 2 hours ?

Or is it crazy to even attempt such a thing ?

OK, that went pretty much as i expected :)

So, the train then. Is it possible to get to Shepherds Bush from East Grinstead or even Three Bridges without making more than two Underground changes ?

Don't think so, you would need to go East Grinstead > London Bridge/London Victoria, then tube to Shepherds Bush.

Wont be any quicker going from Three Bridges either.

If you are only talking about changes on the Underground and not total train changes, then you can easily do it only changing once though a number of different routes, depending upon which station you come into.
