18 Year old man rapes a 5 month old baby

sad thing is you will still get the people in the world who will want to protect this sick ************, 'o he didnt know better'

its a ******* 5 month year old better, how hard is life sometimes honestly?

dealth penalty.

I hope they rip him a new ******* in prison. That made my stomach turn to think somebody could do that to an infant and ruin it's life from the age of 4-5months.

I could sit and argue this with Neanderthals like you all day. I won't, though. It's not a case of protection (except from from short-sighted people like you who'd see him burn for this); the guy obviously needs psychiatric help. He needs to be contained and treated in a place where he can't hurt himself or anyone else. He definitely does not need to be tortured, or to have the death penalty (no one needs the death penalty)

Its sickos like this that make the world a harder place to live. I dare not look at a child without the fear people thinking i may be a peado!

What a sick ****

i say they put the prat in a cage and let random members of the public beat the living s££t out of him one by one

How do you know he's mentally ill, I would say his actions would point to that but it's an assumption.

Do you think that anybody that carries out a sexual assualt of this kind is mentally ill?

While I can kinda see where you're coming from, do you not think that someone who does this kinda thing is obviously wired up wrong and is probably beyond help?

Do you want your hard earned tax going towards his upkeep in a state institution or prison with said money keeping him entertained because it's against his human rights to be NOT subjected to mental simulation. And if he IS 'psychologically' disturbed, then will he benefit from this simulation?

I can see what you're saying though.

He doesn't deserve help. He deserve's nothing but death.

Just extremely upsetting, thank god the child isn't old enough to remember what happened. I hope they never find out when they grow up.

Clearly a mentally disturbed individual, I really don't know what the answer is though.

My thoughts exactly

hmm, let's see. Do you think that a sane individual would be able to do that to a baby, through it crying and choking? I judge others based on my own mind and experiences (as some of the more barbaric members here clearly do, too) and I have to say that I can't imagine doing that whilst being sound of mind.

That article says nothing about what drove the guy to do it, history of this sort of thing, no kind of personal profile or anything. Without knowing the actual facts, I can't be sure whether he did this because he fancied ****ing an infant, or whether he did it because he flipped and saw it as the only way to stop a crying baby - you just don't know.

As a result of this, I can't possibly say "send him to the chair" when there could be something genuinely wrong with him. If he goes down, and it transpires that he just fancies kids, then that's a different issue, isn't it. He was just born 2000 years late.

If he's legitimately ill, then he doesn't deserve to go to prison as he won't receive the care and treatment he needs; he just won't last very long and the system will have failed again.

Lock him up in a padded room, and throw away the key.

Killing him would not be punishment for this. Sad, disturbed "man".

I would hope that a sane person couldn't but I'm not an expert, I just think making the assumption that he is mentally ill is a step too far. I'm sure he will try and use it to "excuse" his actions and get a lighter sentence.

I think there is a danger in jumping to the conclusion that somebody that does this is mentally ill.

I can see what you're saying though.

Obviously, what this guy has done is completely abhorrent and totally unforgiveable. If he's "wired up wrong" and "beyond help", does that mean he deserves to suffer the same fate as someone who's just a malicious git (still very difficult to determine fairly whether they're ill or just horrible people)? Not in my opinion. He deserves to be put somewhere he can be protected from himself and we can be protected from him - I don't mind my tax going towards that, at least then I'd be sure it was going somewhere constructive.

Just to reiterate, this is all bearing in mind he's actually ill and not just faking to get a lighter sentence (though I can't imagine that it's much lighter on the conscience)

Yeah, fair point. :)
