It's weird, sometimes they're like velcro, other times they're desperate to punch everything or palm everything away.

Very fast paced, not sure if im a fan of this new passing power bars. Probably will pick it up for a quick play when it is released though.

I have to say I'm impressed with this demo. Passing is waaay better imo, including throwins and throw outs from the goal keeper. I also like the new camera angle for taking corners. Might be worth a go if I can find it for less than £30 anywhere

Anyone played the PS3 demo? Thought the graphics were very ropey in places, slowdown and some of the stuff looked very rough.

Still not a fan of how FIFA games play, something about them always make them feel unresponsive and slow to me.

Since FIFA 08 was already a decent footie game, this is ok as a slightly modified version of that. No way I'd buy it though, tournament specific footie games should be DLC, or at most a budget release.

Can't find it for pre-order for any less than £39.99 but with any luck it'll soon fall in price due to lack of interest with Euro 2008 because England didn't qualify.

Well after the Euro the game will be in the bargain bin. Just played the demo on the PS3 wasn't too bad at all. However it suffers from some serious slowdown!

I found it to be super smooth on 360, I wonder what the issue is as FIFA08 seems to be identical on 360 and PS3?

Also, has anyone noticed that it uses rumble on the 360 when you clatter the crossbar?

I've downloaded it on both, I've not seen any frame dips on Xbox360 version, I'll try the PS3 version.

Okay, tried it.

There is more delay on the menu's on the PS3.
There are also no puddles on the pitch, which is odd.
There were 2 times where the frame-rate dipped on PS3 (not seen any on Xbox360).
The graphics aren't as crisp.

Still a good game though

I have not had any slowdown during game on the PS3, usual slowdowns in cutscenes etc.

Only played 3 games though.

same here, no slowdown on PS3 bar the goal celebrations etc..

really like the demo, its a little quicker than fifa08 and the player respond better imo.

I wonder why on Scotsport the competitions they do to win a HDTV/PS3 and PES2008. Why do they not put in Fifa08... I tried the PES demo. I thought it looked awful. It looked like a PS1 game.

The slowdowns in the Euro08 seem to be happening with all the coloured paper added to the rain. Well that was in the scenes before the match starts.

It'll probably have frame rate issues because 9/10 the developers make ports to the PS3.
