Viewty battery keeps dying?

Hi guys, had a Black Viewty on O2 for a few weeks. But in the last week or so i can charge the battery overnight, and just sitting on standby all day it goes to two or three bars by about 6pm and is nearly always switched off and dead by 8pm. Do you have any tips on what might be wrong or anything i can do?

try turning 3g & bluetooth off to see if that makes any difference .

I wouldn't touch anything bar a sony now for battery life

Mine doesn't seem too bad just making the odd call text. Usually lasts a few days. But once you start messing about with photos, videos, music, the bars seem to fly down!

Yh I agree about once using the music, video, pictures etc! Shocking battery at times

Does anyone else find once the first bar is gone, the rest go in an instant?!
once you're on the last bar you know you only seem to have a few mins left!

That sounds pretty poor, I know I can run mine down in a day when surfing the net pretty constantly, but it shouldn't do that just on standby.

And yeah, I agree about how quickly it goes through the last couple of bars on the phone.
