Chilli con carne.

OP, once you get a GP sorted its highly likely that you will be put on Lansoprazole. I had similar symptoms but not as severe and was put on Lanso and was recently told I'll probably be on them the rest of my life
They definately will allow you to vary your diet but not by too much.I'm very much afraid that you are looking at a lifetime of digestive misery...........like me![]()

Think yourself lucky mate, in 2006 i was diagnosed with suspected e coli and had to spend four days in hospital on a nil by mouth diet.
That was the hardest thing i've ever endured watching other patients eat roast potatoes and chicken while lying there watching and drooling.
You're saying it weird, why are you putting so much emphasis on the h?
Tell them you want as much of a varied diet as possible, and then ask if they can offer you any leaflets, websites or whatever
He can have things like, bread [brown] fish, beans, toast, crisps, soup, chips, vegie burgers, beer/lager, onions, carrots, scambled egg, poached egg and dark chocolate to name a few.
