New Facebook

Sucks bottom, looks as if someone has just pressed F11, Facebook was better when it was just college and uni students. That way the riff raff chavs were kept out. The number of times I stalk, um, I mean accidentally click on some random's profile to be greeted by hundreds of useless applications is infuriating. I'm all for it being for everyone but it's going down the MySpace route with everyone being able to customise their own page so it ends up a complete mess. Perhaps I'm just growing old or have OCD
Hatch an egg? Sod off. Be a vampire? No thanks. Booze mail? Eh? Friends for sale? Well if someone's offering to buy my friends... ;)
Thankfully most of my mates aren't annoying enough to ask me to use X application.

Agreed. I hate logging on only to have to sift through my notifications looking for anything meaningful.

Agreed, I sent them feedback because I liked how simple it was and you could see the useful information very easily in the similar format.

Apps ruined this, but luckily most of my friends and colleagues haven't got these.... now I feel it's going to be difficult to see the stuff I ACTUALLY want to see because it is so messy.
 
If it aint broke......

Just remove the majority of the cr4ppy applications and notifications.

The 'old' style is fine and doesn't restructuring. It's myspace and all of those bebo places that need to have some standardized structured style sheets!

The stalker facebook image thing gets boring fast. It's been done to death in the last week. Anyway I can't go back to old facebook now :(. If you try removing the new bit it just adds it back in. Don't really want to clear my cookies.

there's a button in the top right which does it for you

I think it's permanent now, I removed all my Facebook cookies & it didn't change back.
