Intel E8600 E0 availiable at ocuk for pre-order!

Thats a price isnt it, but you would be a little silly to pre order something that only one etailer has listed without comparing any pricing at all.

Anyone know if this hits the Intel pricing structure - I know thats by 'pallet' and in dollars just trying to work out if the pricing is realistic or over-inflated...

ps3ud0

Ditto, the price per 1000 was the same as the old e8500 price which it is I beleive.

Hence no gouging and a fair price

those on a budget should get an E8500 instead, £122 vs £188 is a MASSIVE difference (£66) for a small performance increase, the E8500 will fly off the shelves like mad now! They seem to only be clocking 200mhz more on average not much for £66. 9watts power saving when overclocked aint worth the huge price increase either. Might be worth holding out for an E8500 E0 assuming it will be multiplier unlocked.

EDIT: Topic title says "EO" not "E0" please could a moderator change it.

None are unlocked, all non Extremes let you Lower/Raise the Multi in a certain range, Example (6/7/8/9).

The E8500 has a 9.5 Multi in .5 stages.
