Let's face it, we all bend or break laws to a degree, either knowingly or not. there is however a difference in generally doing the "right thing" and taking the wee wee because you don't think you'll get caught.

That's correct although I mainly intellectually rather than morally disagree with the law (on the basis of leading academic and industry opinion). I don't think it's a nonsensical approach either. If you can get 'free' money by going after infringers then who wouldn't? EMI disagree's with the law as it now stands yet uses its rights to get extra revenue through suing infringers...

So, Crysis 2 comes out and hits the shelves, do you a) download it torrent style? or b) buy it from a retailer?
 
I would wait a few years before it's actually playable on a PC I own :p

I do not file-share and as such when/if I decided to play the game I would buy it in a shop. This has little do with whether certain sections of the CDPA (I'm looking at you s28A, S17, S20, S24) need to be modified or an exclusion added though.

My answer to your question is, I don't view it. I've no need for it in my life. I'm not averse to it or object morally as long as the participants are of legal age and it's consensual. Does that answer your question?
