I had my court case yesterday dunno if anyone remembers but i was charged with being drunk in charge and no insurance. anyway i changed my plea to guilty for both charges. my soliciter said i had no chance after he finally heard the tape going not guilty so i just went with what he said. anyway i got the best result possible he was more shocked then i was!!! NO BAN!!!
i got 10 points total a provisonal license until i retake my test (but i can still drive at the moment until i get a letter from dvla) and a £300 fine inc all costs which im paying back at £15 a month lol. would have been less if i pleaded guilty in the first place but whatever.. i gota pay the soliciter fees of £220 but thats ok he knew the best court to go in and did his job at last. the prosecution was a joke it was one woman who ive never seen before who didnt even mention the stuff i said on tape which would be a definite ban. we thought the officers who pulled me would be there but they werent...all she said was i had a bad attitude lol and read what i told the police. glad i changed pleas to guilty otherwise it would be much worse and i could have got a 2 year ban cos my reading was 90 and they would have listened to the tape... i overheard em talking before giving the verdict and another woman was saying look u can use ** discretion or something and give the minimen which is what i got, or up to a 2 year ban.
