Is this card a good buy though. Wouldn't it be better to save up and get a 4850?

This would be good as a PhysX card as physics are not so dependent on memory.
256mb is no good for 1280x1024 either, i used to have a 320mb 8800 GTS at that res, and i had to turn details, res etc... down, it is still a cracking priced card though if its only for a lower spec machine.




Just a quickie, does this 256mb jobbie require a 6-pin pcie cable? Cheers
