8800 GT for £45.81 inc VAT...

They're only good for 1280*1024 resolutions and lower imo... if you game at 1680*1040 or around that then plump for a 512MB card.

256mb is no good for 1280x1024 either, i used to have a 320mb 8800 GTS at that res, and i had to turn details, res etc... down, it is still a cracking priced card though if its only for a lower spec machine.
 
It is literally 10 times worse though.

I've only recently got myself a 320MB GTS, I'm busy turning stuff up! :confused::p

Fine @ 1280x1024 here :)

256MB or not, £45 for an 8800GTS is a lot of bang per buck for most gamers. :)
