Couldn't see a thread on this yet.

what are peoples opinions on how the weekend will shape up?

Will it being a night race make any difference to the drivers / spectators?

What will the weather be like?

I'm assuming it is going to be somewhat interesting, being a new road circuit, at night, and (as was said by the most in-depth poster ever) raining.

Everyone do another rain dance!

i was thinking that as F! cars do not have lights, despite the floodlights its still going to be difficult to see the cars from helicoper shots.
The floodlights should light the cars fine for heli shots. IIRC it was ok for the MotoGP race.

I wouldn't ask for to much rain, new street track + floodlights + rain = glare and half the race behind the safety car.

There will be no problems with that at all. The systems are tried and tested, and the Moto GP proved it all works fine.

But on an interesting circuit.

Although Valencia was meant to allow for great overtaking and I don't think there was a single move in the race.

Still the singapore layout looks interesting and should allow some great racing.
