E-pee and cars

Drove up to Leeds yesterday some 3 hours. I took the g/f's 1.25 Fez which will happily sit at 80 below 4k revs.

Couple of occasions yesterday sat in the outside lane, passing a car hogging the middle lane, only for them to start accelerating gradually for what purpose I am at a loss.

1st driver in a enterprise Kalos or something and me being me could not be bothered with putting my foot down and caining the g/f's car.

2nd driver a dumb as chick in a Corsa also did it, I could have floored it and prob out paced her. But the big question is why do idiots do this, I ended up braking pulling up behind her and flashed my lights at her.

Only for me to then pass at 80MPH 2 or so mile down the road to see her disappear in the rear view mirror.

Its downright dangerous and really narks me.

Its still the whole thing of why do I have to then put my foot down to say 90+ to pass them? I do not think it would wash with a copper if I gave this explanation if I was pulled.

some poeple to do it without noticing it I occasionally have accelerated without noticing it to keep pace with a person ONCE they have overtaken me be not during, either that or they are just fools and dont want to be overtaken

Because its all on the M1 and has no advantage as I just sit at 80MPH & costing more in fuel and me stressing about parking overnight

well some people want economy, but a small engine thrashed on long trips is not necessarily better than something twice the size...

You can get Smarts.. You'd be surprised what small cars you can get in the states, not that i'd drive 'em.....

It happens all the time, if its intentional or not I don't know. Although I find people carriers are the worst!

I just accelerate a bit, pass them and don't worry about it
