Well just started the game and the guy tells me go to mikes bar. more the half way to the bar and i i pass out what do u have to do to to stop passing out ?

thats the problem i just started the game and guy says go to mikes and get the tablets but i can not get there half way there i get that malaria attack and i pass out. it happens even if i have a rest :confused:
 
that's still in the tutorial bit though isn't it? once you pick up the tablets and exit the church the tutorial ends. i passed out once when i left the hotel at the very beginning then as I was talking to the guy to get the tablets. have you tried starting again?

Are you letting it continue or hitting escape and reloading? You'll find a couple of times you are meant to pass out and if you leav it you find it load and you wake up elsewhere

Yeah, I found that slightly confusing. You have to wait until it actually appears as a mission, rather than going there having been told to. There should be something else to do first.

It's a Philips thing - gives you lights, fans, and some other stuff that simulate the environment you're in (so if you're in a windy forest, you might get green lighting and fans blowing in your face)

you need to get one diamond case before you go to the bar or you will die on the bridge, then go to the gun shop

Im getting a BSOD whenever i use the medibox's on the wall. Anybody else get this? Using latest drivers. Plays any other latest game no problem. Warhead, Grid, Stalker etc
 
I think it's a wonderful game. I'm able to run it on Ultra High (with shadows to Very High) and 4xAA at 1680x1050 with a single 4870. The complaints are most definitely overstated in my opinion. This game feels very much like Oblivion with guns. I'm enjoying it a lot. I have to keep remembering that it's a hostile region outside of the ceasefire zones, the Oblivion player in me keeps assuming those loitering Africans at the checkpoints are all nice people who'd like to share a drink with me :p

My biggest qualm, and it's not a very big qualm at all in fact, is that the game appears not to support rumble when I play it with the 360 pad - I hope there's something I'm missing, or that Ubi will implement it at a later date.
 
D'oh! Can't beleive how much of a tard I have been.... I was getting really frustrated with the mounted turrets as they wouldn't bloody kill anyone and then I realised I wasn't pressing 'right click' to bring up the iron sights - :o :(
