Ive got 11k to spend on a VW GOlf GT TDI , I`m hoping I can get a 2007 Sport model for a cash sale, in brief, is this feasible?

Look on the trader/pheads for an idea as to prices, than add a grand or two as buying trade

I HAVE seen sub 20k miles ones from dealers circa 12k (11,900 actually), so I`m figuring 11k cash in these tumultuous times is a decent offer?

Why buy a 2007 car from a dealer? It will still have the same warranty if you buy it privately but will cost less.
