Is it just me (maybe I epitomise the Scrooge of Halloween) or do kids generally take the **** when it comes to Halloween?

How many of you have kids coming to the door several days before the 31st? It really annoys me, its nothing short of begging. Halloween is the 31st, not the 27th, 28th, 29th........

I don't have a problem with Halloween at all, its fun for the kids but some things I never do:

Give money - too many kids these days will spend it on booze or fags
Give anything to anyone who comes knocking before the 31st
