Get the train to glasgow and take in some real scottish culture - who knows you may even see someone get bottled or if your really lucky - stabbed!

Que? I've heard of another triangle in Edinburgh but it's slightly less savoury than that.

Edinburgh has so much to do it is more a case of trying to fit it all in, if you're in the mood for a walk then Arthur's Seat is a good choice but will probably be quite cold at this time of year.

The Grassmarket has or had quite a good selection of pubs. If you're interested in a bit of culture then the Chamber Street Museum (aka The National Museum of Scotland) is worth a look although it is being refitted at the moment. The National Gallery of Scotland is also there, bottom of the Mound. I'd suggest a walk along Princes Street and maybe a trip into the Gardens while you are at it.
