Best 500w PSU for around £50

Lo guys,

as per the title. Speccing a comp for a friend, he's gonna have the following:

Gigabyte DS3R
E2200 @ 2.7ghz (highest i can clock the one i'm giving him

)
2xpc2-5300 crucial 1gb modules
Palit 4850 (Stock model, 1986mhz)
2x250gb hard drives
2xDVD-RWs

Wondering if 500w would be overkill? Could this spec be managed by a Corsair vx450?

Gigabyte Odin 550W or Gigabyte Superb 550W (same just less bells and whistles), I have the Superb and it's err..well, superb actually.
120mm fan and v quiet and stable rails.

Thanks guys. I've got a hx620 so just wanted to know if the Corsair was of the same quality despite being a few models down.
