Fan profile for 4870

i've been searching for the topic on how to create a fan profile (where the fan speed increases depending on temps) for my 4870 but my powers are weak.

could someone please help?!

the fan increases speed according to temps automatically although it only speeds up when the temps are pretty high. With catalyst control centre i did the manual fan override thing and set it at 30%. Now the card dosnt go above 45 degrees and idles at 30, tis very quiet too!. I think i heared you can create profiles on rivatuner though although i have never tried it. CCC gets the job done for me

i've not had my fan go above 50deg yet and is on 40% fan speed ideling at 40deg but was interested in creating one etc

You can create custom fan profiles in ccc for games etc, so for example when you are jus browsing internet etc the fan can be around 27% and when in games automaticaly goes to 40-45%

Its only fixed speed profiles in the CCC though, you can't make them rise/fall depending on temp.

If you want i can create a 4870 custom bios with better fan profile so that your card is cool at idle and cool at load.
