And my god what a blast :D

Was a 30min session which I went with a load of other ZS guys from a forum.

I've never had so much fun in the car! Got in quite a few overtakes, there were 20 cars on the track at the time, the weather was very kind to us and overall it was simply brilliant! :)

If you have a spare £25 - I would thoroughly recommend doing it! Didn't have any hairy moments and I was caning it at times and got up to 110mph on the long straight of the indy circuit. Surprised quite a few people and had others coming up to us afterwards saying they weren't expecting that from a 'bunch of Rovers' :D

Front brakes are now 'spongy' so I'll be fitting new pads asap lol!!

(I'm at the back covered in filth! :p) (and the ST was with us as well)

Going for a half day in early Feb with them again and quite frankly I cannot wait! oh yes!

Many Thanks to Overlag for turning up and snapping some images!

Good effort J! I see a proper Rover there, showing you fancy MG boys how it's done :p

The camber on those front wheels looks interesting... ;)

I overtook him so up yours northerner :D - That was a Turbo to! spoke to the driver during the day, fantastic bloke - told him about your car, he said he'd get his arse on RT and look out for you!

lol. That's on the original arms dude, the adjustables had to come off :( - but they are going back on in a day or so :)
EDIT: For the record the drivers side is fine it's just the passenger side which sits at that angle, doesn't affect the handling though!

Yeah, I noticed the number plate (all FDH's are turbos).

/pops over to RT and waves at random people :p

Nice one, it's a great feeling when you get to the bottom of paddock hill bend and your stomach ends up in your boots isn't it.

What happened with the adjustable arms then? ;)

Oh yes - specially with your foot to the floor :D

Well they went on fine and corrected the camber as expected - I went to get it tracked and laser aligned, they jacked the car up to start making the adjustments and the bloody drivers wheel fell OUT of the camber adjuster

Basically theres a plate which sits on top of the adjuster to hold the arm in and the plate was missing for whatever reason. So the garage bodged it so I could drive back and go get my original arms, then had them fitted and had the car tracked/aligned - so it handles brilliantly at the minute, just getting uneven tyre wear - gash :(

So as it stands another plate is being fabricated for me so I can have the adjustables put back on :)

Looks good mate :)

Must say a trip to brands for 30 minutes must be a bit of a ball ache !!!! i would want a minimum of half a day really

The trackday i did at bedford last month didnt go to plan so i have 50% off the next one so i must get it booked !!!!

Sam

Nice one, good effort. Like to see people doing track days - I have to thank the MG's on track for letting the MX5's come along to Cadwell Park earlier this year - fantastic days. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks all, and yes we were having lots of fun! :D

Sam, Brands is about 20minutes max from my place so it's not an issue really :) Was good and well worth it! I'm booking up a full day at the beginning of Feb if you want to come along and play with Zeds :D

You must have been caning it - Brands is 'about 20 mins' from mine, and I'm 1 junction away on the M25!!;)

And what happened to your N/S foglight?

Give me a buzz next time - might come with you!

Nope, from my folks I'm about 2 minutes from the m25, with no traffic it's 10 minutes to the bridge, and then 10mins if that from there.

And what happened to your N/S foglight?

Look closer, that's the intake for the induction!

Give me a buzz next time - might come with you!

Will do!
