Banks and refunds :(

Just had an absolute cracker, ordered a GFX card from a rival company which also allows 3rd parties to trade through them ( not the auction one) got an email today to say we cant send you said card as id has been dropped and is damaged, Why it was out of the box im slightly unsure.

They then E-mailed to say we will refund all monies to you as we are out of stock. happy me as a bit hunting found a better one cheaper.

Looked at my bank online and no money taken so thought ahh nice its in transactions pending it should just be dropped back into the account, as i want the new card asap before its gone i phoned the company and asked how long their refunds take, "3 working days", well i can live with that, then phones bank to ask if its in transaction pending "YES" how long will it take to drop back into my account "ohh 7 working days". AARGH!!! I would have been easier asking how hi is a china man.

Does anyone in here have a better answer. please cheer me up ocUK buddies until i get home to my alcohol

No offence to the Chinese i love them especialy their women

I'm with Lloyds and had a similar problem once, went into the bank and they removed the mark on the account, freeing up the moniez :D
