Hi all,

These are some of the photos from the Bedford trackday today (they are samples from the official photographer).

Thanks to everyone for showing up - had a fantastic day and managed 193 miles on the track. Hope to see you all again on the track soon :D

I need a helmet...

No you don't, its £10 to rent one, not too bad really.

Had an awesome day today, was so much fun getting to go in all the above cars, loved them all. Each was special in its own way :p

My only regret about the day is not bringing my car, major mistake. Next time though for definite.

Awesome pics too, I thought the official photographs would be plastered with watermarks.

Just got in and sorting out my photos, will upload a couple shortly :)

Nice! Looking forward to seeing them, you were the guy with the canon 400D right?

Stew.

Yeah, I know, but would be nice to have one of my own.

Although it should be the least of my worries... need a car worth tracking first... :(

Love the bodyroll on mine :D

Had an awesome day, thankyou for the passenger rides and I hope I showed some of you how fun a hairdressers car can be ;)

Note to self and anyone else with Toyo Proxes T1-R, they are utterly useless on track. On the damp track in the morning they were fantastic, gripped well and very progressive, very little wear. In the afternoon when it was dry they just melted. They were brand new 8 weeks ago and I think half the tread is gone with chunks of rubber ripped off and the entire tread covered in strings of rubber that have peeled off in the corners. Most other cars could spend 45mins+ out on track and their brakes faded before the tyres got above warm. I had to pit after every 4-5 laps to let my tyres cool, even after pumping extra air into them to try and stiffen the sidewalls as much as possible. Annoying but I still thoroughly enjoyed the day. Did about 100 miles out on track and learnt buckets about how my car handles :D

Yarr that was me :)

Have been through the photos and picked a couple out quickly, will go through the rest of them later and perhaps touch them up a bit if they need them and sort out links for you all for full sized pics!

Fantastic, it's appreciated!

Spaz,

Cheers for the pictures, loving how the pics of my car came out, quite comic that the car is soaked in crap apart from where ive wiped a clean line on it with my jeans getting in and out of the car!

Got to get your S2000 on there now, no excuses next time!

I had a great day. The photos look fantastic spaz. Thanks for the ride in the MX-5 - I'll have to go rwd for my next car for some tail out action.

The Leon is handling much better than my last track day, the rear anti-roll bar really helped in reducing understeer. I Cooked the brakes on my last session after seeing how late I could brake on the back straight. Now the front disks look like this :(

I now have an excuse to upgrade to something more suited for track usage.

Looks like a good day! Shame I couldn't come along! Don't know what to do then with my tyres also being T1-R's. :( Next time guys, next time!
