FIFA 09 - Game Discussion Thread

It's amazing what a defeat does to your confidence, prior to playing you I'd just lost 2 very tight games on the trot, so going into our first game I was a mess, couldn't defend or pass to save my life.

Luckily I started to get it together in the 2nd which is great for confidence, and in the 3rd I was just rampant.

Well played though mate, you're far better than when I last played you!

aye, second game was bloomin close but aston villa are all just pace up front and arsenal have a quick defence. i usually play as arsenal (adebayor is a beast no defender can take the ball from him) should have scored in the first 20 seconds and i hit the woodwork 30 seconds into the second half. this game is really fickle at times, especially with that ******* red card. how can an attacker crack of a shot and then a defender tackle and get a red card. yey fifa coding woooo :(
 
I nearly believed the theories on FIFA making up results in a ranked game last night!

26 shots on target last night and it took until the 87th minute for me to eventually score :D

I use the default settings, saves messing around all the time.
 
I keep getting this error when trying to sign into the EA servers.

"You must be signed in to Xbox Live and the EA servers in order to access the online features of this title"

I'm connected to live fine, can play other games fine.

Anyone else had similar errors? Doing my head in, happened a couple of days ago too.
 
am regretting getting the 360 version.. was wining the past 5 games and all the players have quit early at the magic end of the game trick
