Best 360 driving game?

Fancy getting a driving game as all my current games are FPS's but Im crap with the controller so I want to win at something from now on :p. My cousin has project gotham 4 but what other games are out there and are good online? Saw a new game in the chart at shops today called Pro Race Driver or something similar that any good?
 
Race Pro is a sim, and only really worth buying if you like games which are harder to master.

Apart from PGR4 I would recommend Forza 2, GRID or Burnout Paradise. Midnight Club LA is worth a look as well, and personally I quite like Need for Speed Undercover, although it's not to everyone's taste.
 
PGR4 for the pick up and play fun aspect
Forza 2 for the best physics and more rewarding gameplay.

I've not played Race pro yet but i've heard it could be the contender for best console sim.
 
Forza2. Awesome in every way & has a Perfect learning curve built into the single player.

GRID. Fast & explosive kind of in your face racing that is Superb fun.
 
Like yourself most of my 360 games are FPS on the rare occasion that i do play a racer its always Burnout Paradise. Fast paced and great fun even though i usually hate racing games.
 
Sim: Forza 2
Sensible Arcade: Project Gotham Racing (I like 3, but 4 is the latest)
Ridiculous Arcade: Burnout Paradise

Race Pro is made by simbin who made a couple of really fantastic, hardcore sim racers on the PC. I haven't had the opportunity to play it yet though so i cannot comment on how good it is.
 
Forza 2 is pretty good, gets annoying on the later levels as the AI seems to be amazingly good at driving and you just cannot compete ... PGR 4 is awesome Arcade fun, great on line too as you don't need to pay too much attention... However the current disc in my box is Race Pro... I was a fan of the series on the PC so bought it for the xbox... Its awesome in everyway. I've lost count of the amount of times I've spun a BMW by dropping down two gears too fast on a corner etc!
 
Forza 2 is great.

Grid is good fun & Project Gotham is a good game too. Burnout is madness, one of the bike racing games i've played was prety good too, don't recall the name of it though.
 
Forza 2 for sim style. RacePro is good but i'm not enjoying it as much as i did Forza.
PGR3/4 For arcade but some realism.

PLEASE don't touch GRID, its the worst excuse for a racing game ever. The handling is atrocious and hugely unrealistic, I'm amazed it even got released.
