...and got free stuff in return for your troubles?

Examples i'm thinking of are unsuitable packaging, incorrect contents etc etc...

Do Kit Kats count?

If so, I contacted Nestle last week merely asking if some Kit Kats in the multipacks were supposed to be solid chocolate with no biscuit filling. I received a very prompt reply informing me the process of how they made Kit Kats and then they offered to send me a 'gesture of goodwill' :)

Had to provide packaging info and now awaiting for my Kit Kats!
 
Me and two friends went to Harvester and spent the princely sum of £4.95 each. We made a complaint and managed to get around £170 of free food out of it.

Owned.

Been to T.G.I Friday's before and written a letter of complaint as the service was appauling. Got free vouchers for the equivalent of the total cost to me on the night. Pretty good from their customer service.
 
Yeah, I emailed Pot Noodle about the size of the sachet of Soy Sauce in the Chicken & Mushroom flavour ones. It wasn't a complaint per se, but more of a jokey suggestion. I got a letter back saying they'd take my suggestion "into consideration" but meanwhile here are some vouchers for 24 free Pot Noodles. :D
 
my parentals got a packet of cat food, and a couple of the sachets had exploded inside the box for whatever reason. they phoned up and got a few free vouchers, kept the moggy fed for a couple of weeks for free.
 
Chances of me getting something are pretty good then :)

Bought some "Wild West Beef Jerky" in Original flavour, opened it up and ate some and it was peppered, not good as my partner is allergic to the stuff.

Sent them a letter and the packet (with contents) back in the post!

complained to a beefeater pub and got 6 free meals as a result!

Oh and complained to the halifax too. Just written a letter last week, shall see what response I get.
 
Yep...i complained to seabrook crisps when they changed to the new mega salty flavouring system, got a nice letter and many bags of seabrook crisps (In every flavour they do) in return.

Also complained to the people who make double decker chocolate bars saying they were much smaller, then sent me a couple of vouchers that were only redeemable at certain stores no where near where i live.
