1st pc game that soaked up all you time?

UFO: Enemy Unknown. Great game, 'nuff said.

Day Of Defeat. I still play fairly frequently. Catch me on 333rd's, FFC's, or 1st PB's servers.

AirRivals. Oh the hours I've sunk into this game. It used to be called Space Cowboy Online years ago, and then Flysis about a year ago now. Shame the name changes also were publisher team changes, and therefore everyone's accounts were wiped. Back before I got my job I'd be playing this nonstop, even leaving the game running while I slept. Still play this quite often. Witness my leet crashing skillz on the Auriga server.

Used to play huge amounts of True Combat: Elite too. (WTCW:ET Modern swat/tactical mod- where ironsights and leaning first arose in FPS'.) Shame the community has dwindled and the dev team has gotten so inactive.

Might and Magic VI : The Mandate of Heaven

Spent an entire Summer on this game, rarely saw the outside world. There's still the urge to go back to it for a speed run... Was around 1998 I got it and I'd never played a full on rpg, later M&M's were good but VI was the best.

Ultima Online was the first, how I miss it so.

Everquest has taken the most time thou with my main chr clocking in at just under 10,000hours played time :-(

BF2 first account 470:26:02 second account 1047:51:33 over 1500 hours on one game.

Think it was soldier of fortune although the other contender is red alert. But I think SOF was released first. both played online for ages

Americas Army about 2-3-4 years ago. Spent my whole GCSE summer/revision break playing it. Could only play bridge because all the other maps wouldn't run without giving me 1 fps. Could have got straight a*'s if it wasn't for that :/

Definately Tie Fighter, back in the day, got so addicted and came down so often in the early mornings my family BIOS passworded the machine...then I realised at the sprightly age of 7-9 that if I was very quiet I could remove the battery to reset the BIOS and it'd be a week or two before they noticed :D

Was on a sprightly old P90, in a Compaq Presario with Tabworks and the first version of W95....jeez how things have moved!

I always used to get blamed for breaking the windows install too, for daring to play Dos based games!

My first PC game was Megarace, back in the days of a P75, Windows 3.1 and Dos

Then I guess Fade 2 Black and the original C&C
