Agreed. While it certainly is a monsta, fitting the thing is most cases will be difficult aswell due to it's thickness. Having said that you would only need one loop with this so it might negate the difference in space needed.

They're the wrong side of £180 by quite a distance too so with the 1.3ltr of liquid just for that rad you're looking at about £200.

I don't know whether it would work, but could this be mounted with fans on both sides pushing inward, and then exhaust out through the side, in order to create a higher pressure over the fins?

Or perhaps with a blanking cover over the back, to allow airflow in an L shape?

Agreed. Normal flow through a rads fins would be disrupted.
