Thanks for the advice! I just placed an order for 2 of the OcUK Value GeForce GTX 260 "Core 216 55nm" 896MB GDDR3 Dual DVI (PCI-Express), 1 for me, 1 for my son.

Also, I found I had just qualified for free delivery so I am over the moon and looking forward to seeing the improvements of the 8800GT. I know the 8800GT was somewhat sluggish sometimes in Stalker Clear Sky with the higher settings enabled at 1680x1050.

I cannot remember where or what website I read an article about the GTX 300 Series is not due for production until at least August 2009 and will most likely ship around about September 2009. There is a problem though...? the 300 series will have a power consumption of 360W which is just silly. ATI have no plans to produce a 4890 X2 from what articles I have read which is really sad.
