Lol, well I never got bored of my Corsa, Ive been perfectly happy with it. That said my GF and I will need another car at somepoint, so when that time comes if im bored she can have the Scirocco (or whatever I get now) and ill get something new, but 200bhp is plenty for me to be happy as far as I can see.

I will definately look into some Golfs and see what I can find (I like the car well enough but while I have no commitments I want to make the most of not needing a practical car). The problem with waiting is that within 6 months my corsa will need, MOT and tax and a hefty service (the head gasket is leaking amongst other issues so its going to cost a lot) and I may lose on the scrapage scheme ending.

Those are just my throughts, I will definately have a look around before I get anything though.

It'll seat 4 adults, the seats fold flat, it has a spacious hatch at the back, its very practical compared to something like a Honda S2000 or a Porsche Boxster for example. It is arguably more practical than a 4 door saloon as you can fit all sorts in a hatchback, they are such practical cars.
 
Indeed and a Honda 2000 or a Boxster are both very practical compared to a push bike, but for what I use my car for its not very practical. But those are sarafices im happy to make for the time being, hence in MY mind its not a practical car. Later on I dont think ill have the option to have something like this.
