Hi,

I've just got a 3gs and figured i wanted to put some of my avi's on it.

Does the iphone only support mp4?
Is handbrake the best app to convert the avi's on OSX?
If so, do i need to change any settings in handbrake to get the best out of it? or is it just select source, select destination, mp4, go.
Also, in handbrake is there a way to batch convert? as it seems i have to go through each file individually and add to queue.

I'm new to iphone's so have no idea. I searched on here, but didn't really find much.

Cheers.

There is a preset in handbrake for iphone/pod so you dont have to worry about settings, the only form of batch convert is a queuing option, you cant select a folder to convert as such, just add individual files to the queue and set it going and leave it.

Hope that helps.

In handbrake, when converting for the iphone, I select "iphone ipod touch" in the presets then encode. Can I tweak the settings any further for enhanced quality?

How about getting rid of postcard in movies view; anyone?

*Tumbleweed rolls through the thread.
