Family of 15 .. and want more..

What disgusting views some people hold here (the ironic thing is that I will probably get abused for stating my views on some of you).

Wonderful of not, I have no problems with large families, that pay for their own, its those leechers that I have a problem with. (That american family, may not be leeching in which case, good for them)

The wife would have to be careful with her pregnancies now. After giving birth to that many kids her labour would probably be only a few minutes.

They state that god will be the contraception in some weird way, are they referring to the fact that after so many births she should be unable to get pregnant again for some reason, or is it as has already been pointed out that eventually the husband wont want to pork her anymore as it just wouldn't be worth it?

I'm guessing she's going to continue to have more kids until God puts her through 'the change'.

The human race needs to control it's birth rate.

The last time i checked the birth to death ratio was 2:1 which means that we're going to be in serious trouble quite soon. There will not be enough food to go around, unless we start cloning sheep and vegetables etc.. but that won't happen as it's immoral or we're not meant to 'play god'!

2 kids to family should be more then enough imo.

At the end of the day, as long as the parents take good care of those kids then it doesn't matter... but if the kids take on the same role as their parents were going to have 225 kids... That's a lot of grandchildren!

Fair play to them, if their beliefs have brought them to that point then fair enough. But if they are happy then why not?

It's when people do it for the wrong reasons it gets dodgy, aka, mums in this country giving birth at 16, 17, 18 and 19 to scrounge off the government its totally messed up.

I am an atheist so don't believe in religion, but as I said, if they are happy. Well done on them for putting up with those tough times.

Sod baby sitting though lol...

Because we live on a planet with finite space and finite resources.

I have no doubt that large families are often very happy, everyone likes company, so why wouldnt they be.

I am not saying that having a large family is intrinsically wrong, I am saying that objectively speaking, it makes no sense.

if 5/10 births that happen in this country result in somebody that lives till they are 70 and 1 in 2 of those have the usual 2 kids, then given it takes two to make each child, things start to work out on paper. However if each of those had 15 kids, our tiny area of land suddenly starts to look very very crowded.

Resulting in starvation, generally poor living conditions, faster spread of disease etc etc.

China already has this problem and to combat it, in true faux-communist style, they have introduced forced limitation on children. As I stated in my first post, this isnt right, nobody should have the right to stop two humans reproducing. What I did say, and still believe is that those of us who have considered the simple facts and figures and found them to be wanting (which any sane person would), should state our opinions.

15 kids is too many. Heck, in a country this small, 6+ is too many.

More deluded religious people ignoring over-population, unfortunately it wont be them that suffers, it'll be the poor people in poorer countries that pay the price for their selfish ways.

Its the same as another family, I think Muslim (either way you can see the "Ooo God tells me to do it" theme) and he said Allah wanted him to keep having kids... that Allah sure does give out mixed messages, sometimes we wants more births, sometimes he wants people to blow them up... odd.
