15½ hour shifts

If you can put up with the boredom and maybe the social effects, I'd say it's money for old rope.

Unless someone breaks in and you have to actually do something :D

I would :D As long as there is a computer hooked up to the internet at the desk - no problem :) I'll find enough to keep myself amused :p

i'd do it if i needed to but the money seems a bit poor (but then i live down saaf) and i would get bored, but needs must.

62 hours work for less than £400 is a bit crap though...

unless by 4 days on you mean 3 shifts covering 4 days

I have done, but I wouldn't want to do it all the time. If you can sleep that changes things. Also I would take any job you can at the moment.

Just get yourself a laptop, broadband, potable dvd playr, dvds and a couple of wireless webcams.
This is what Ares do.

Supplement the cctv with some webcams, then go and do there rounds when needed.

I probably wouldn't, get too bored, even with the internet. Plus the money isn't amazing (in the South East) for doing it.

thats abit excess but then again could buy yourself a net ready device if they dont provide some internet. £378 doesnt seem too bad. personally i couldnt work that many hours, ive done it before and it was mind-numbingly boring and on my days off i felt like a zombie. if you think you handle it go for it, at least for a while :)

I think its easy work for ok money. As long as they are relaxed about been able to read or use the internet it would go quick enough i guess (also been able to kip would be great!)

If you need to then do it :)

If the current guy can get away with sleeping you could use that time to study for qualifications that could eventually get you a better job with better pay and hours.
