Hi all,

Me & my wife need to buy a new car seat for our 4 month old son. We have been looking at getting a birth to 4 car seat as this makes more financial sense in the long run but we are having problems finding one that will fit into her car. We went into Kiddiecare and they say not one 0 - 4 car seat will fit. Her car is a MG ZR, does anyone here know of any car seats that will fit her car?

Any advise would be much appreciated,

in what way will it not fit?

they said that the seat belt buckle comes out to much and because of this no birth to 4 car seat will fit, which I find hard to believe? We tried a Britax and a concord but the buckle sits to close to the base and they said that this would shatter in a acident. But there must be one that fits.

Any baby seat should fit the car.

The Britax Group 0+ & Group 1 seat for Birth to ~for yours will fit the MG ZR. Full name is Britax First Class plus.

Halfrauds sell them, price is ~90 quid.

Thank you, but they tried that one but said that because the seat belt buckle comes out to much and was to close to the base of the seat it will shatter if the car is in an acident. Does any one know anything different to this? As when I looked at it, it seemed fine to me but they said no.
