Janesy B suggests - Buy another Mondeo and learn how to drive properly. It's a Mondeo, not a tank.
The MK2 Focus is 4340mm long and 1840mm wide, the MK3 Mondeo is 4731 mm long and 1958 mm wide. That's a difference of 30 centimetres in length and 10 centimetres in width.
I've heard a few people say that the honda 2.2 cdti is a very good engine, and not just for a diesel. What's the interior and drive like compared to it's ford or vw counterparts?
Thanks for your input guys, she can up the budget if necessary...i think she will end up with the mk2 focus or the megane, she can always just take a trip to GK Ford and they will let her test drive one of there focus's
JenesyB it has nothing at all to do with her driving skills she has been driving 20 years and no doubt a far better and experienced driver then you, its just that she doesn't need such a big car anymore, she wants something smaller what she feels more comfortable in.
I can recommend the megane. I have owned a 1.9 DCi which I have been really impressed with. The DCi engine is made by nissan and is a very responsive for a diesel. I suspect mine may have had a remap.
Mine is coming up to 90k on the clock and I have had no trouble with it what so ever.
