Lol, Goldring DR100 are £28 and much better than what you bought.

And yes, I did own a pair of 5.1 headphones before buying real ones (Zalmans to HD555). You made a mistake, learn from it and don't be such a ****.

5.1 headphones are really not worth your money. normal headphones with dolby headphone technology give you the same effect but superior sound quality

£ for £ you'll get better sound from headphones, my £50 HD555 are only a little worse than my £350 Mezzo 2s (both running off the same amp/soundcard).

Plus you need to spend a fair amount more with speakers and an amp to match the quality of a good set of headphones.

Start with some niceish headphones then move to separates in teh future.

yeah its not for everyone nnoise pollution but i prefer it over headphones any day of the week and ive got a few pairs of decent ones . last time used 2 yrs ago

Sennheisers hands down HD555 for £55 if you look hard enough will easily be the better choice.
A good set of stereo headphones will always > 5.1 headphones any day

just got a steelseries siberia white full size headset with usb soundcard and virtual 7.1 audio for £35, got home to check prices from other places and it seems to be double the price every where else! i wonder if pc world have made a boo boo ?

I use Razor 7.1 Megaladon bloody good for the price i got them at.
Brand new £80.00 deliverd. im happy. sound great on call of duty 6.

I've got some speed link medusa thingys that cost like £50 a couple of years ago, but i use a pair of seinheiser sports earphones instead that cost like £35, thats how dissapointing 5.1's are....

I've had a few surround sets over my time. Since then I've learnt my lesson, quality Stereo set with Dolby Headphone instead please.
