*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Well according to someone on XBL , Skyfall supposedly sounds American :confused: :p

I still get games with a fair amount of Americans and quite a few with German/French as well.

Bought my game off of MM for £24 so I don't mind paying extra for added gametypes & maps :p Most games do anyway. They may have been working on the extra game types , hoping to get them finished before release but unfortunately they ran out of time , so they just left the code there ready for a DLC.
 
I've had awful connections the last 2 nights now to everyone (PSN) :(
Although I'm starting to point my finger of blame to my 10mb virgin media connection.
Whatever it is looks like I can't play after work at the moment :(

The French don't seem to be able to stop shouting at all through an entire game so they're straight to mute while in the lobby waiting for the game to start.

Playing by myself I can handle a few games before I need a break to to the lack of teamwork with randoms, howver when I party up with my friends, knowing that someone is watching a direction or a flag is much better than relying on randoms. Why do people race off to take the third flag in domination? Is there a law that means must run of and defend not defend the two flags we have?!

Last time We played domination, we were the team and got a 25 win streak.

As soon as I hear a little kid, I hit the mute button ASAP. Some voices actually hurt my ears :(
 
Since I started 3 days ago, been playing on Hardcore HQ pro and to be honest, the crowd there is fine. The occasional music in the background people with hisses and cracks (mute and I'm fine) and the odd 'Hardcore players' who can't stop swearing at the team to get them into gear.

People do take these games WAY too serious.

I'm on XBL by the way.
 
Just out of curiosity are there any organised leagues/tournaments for MW2 in general? Takes me back to my old PC gaming days online in tournaments and ladders for clanbase, just wondering if there is anything similar set up for MW2.

Almost all the people who annoy me online are brits whinging about how "******* ****" the game is every time they get whacked.

I'm hoping my NAT issue will have resolved itself after leaving the router unplugged for a day :p
 
lol, playing against some idiots at the moment, they're not very good and when i got the game winning killcam having a HBS on my ACR the guy was saying "wow you can use a HBS only fags use HBS, you're fags etc..." then when someone got a game winning killcam with a chopper gunner he said "wow you can use an overpowered ks reward" we all lolled.

Lol @ the "OMGWHOTWHOTHBS" crew , if they don't like it , use Ninja.

and of course , he only uses UAV, Counter UAV and Precision air strike :rolleyes::p

I had some woeful games,but it was a good laugh anyway. I can't get out of the FFA mentality of kill EVERYTHING. :D

Certainly going to play more team based games for a bit now. I also need to dig out my headset whereever it may be.

I take you mean you got killed by an infected? I had that a few nights ago, was wondering if I put it as my title and knife someone do I get a bonus for it?

Q) Are killstreaks like COD4, as in you get say a predator missile and your KS ends then, or if I say get then a kill then another kill I get my harrier?

I hope that makes sense.....
