Snowball Etiquette

I like to get a fresh dog poo , wrap it up in a ball of snow find the closest old lady and launch it into her face. I then proceed to run off giggling to my self knowing that this action will be forever remembered by her and could potentially be the pivotal moment of her life. I then revist her on the same day the next year.... Has she cowerd into her house too scared to go out? Or had she found the strength and started a neighbourhood campaign utilising an inner strength she never new she had and eventually goes onto become the oldest mayor of her town.

Yeah, I had one thrown at me on Xmas Eve by a bunch of teens at the other side of the road. Was a bit ****ed if I'm honest. Took a while but then realised how stupid I was being taking offence to it. Nothing but a bit of snow and a laugh.

Ahaha.

Provided it's not aimed at the head and not in malice, I think one is acceptable...

But then lots of people on here are grumpy psychos who can't take a joke.

This.

The problem is that things get taken way too far by some people. Snowballs, become iceballs. A lighthearted lob, becomes a full force pelting.

Kids threw snowballs at my car while I was driving, I just kept living my life.

Snow seems to bring out the worst in some people, whilst sledging in our local park the other day I saw two young boys (10/11ish) walking down the path and as the cars were covered in snow one drew a smiley face in to a car window. A guy playing fetch with his dog then proceeded to start having a go at these to lads saying that they could have damaged his car, etc, in a very aggressive manner. I went over told the lads to carry on home and me and a couple of mates had a few words with this guy and safe to say he wasn't feeling so brave when it was three 6ft+ lads and he quickly scurried of into his nearby house.

Some people become more pathetic in the cold weather.

Because being 6ft+ is scary? LOL! :D

I'm guessing your short but that ok, don't feel offended and I don't recall saying anything about it being scary, it's merely slightly more intimidating than the two 5ft kids he was having a go at! LOL! :D

In all seriousness the best thing would have been to gone out and spent twenty minutes playing snowballs with them. They'd have had some fun with the bloke from the house and you never know, you may have enjoyed it.

Did you read what I posted? They were walking home, we were out in the snow and the guy was anything but fun.

I actually wish someone would throw a snowball at me. It would be an excuse to join in the snowball fight. Haven't had a decent snowball fight in years.

When I was a kid we pushed a giant snowball in to the road and pelted the drivers with snowballs when they stopped.

Looking back it seems stupid, but we were kids and knew no better at the time.
