Betting question. Have i lost money?

I won £4 from Andy Murray. I reckon liverpool will beat wolves, and i reckon i will win £4 again. I will also win £2 if either Alonso, Hamilton, or Schumacher win the F1, and will win about £1.50 if either Rossi or Stoner win the MotoGP.

It is just a little bit of fun with pretty small sums of money, i don't see why i should have to be a sport pro to bet on something.

Losing money isn't fun. I understand what you're trying to say, but if you have 10 x £5 bets on something you aren't going to get anything worthwhile back from (odds-on) and they end up losing, that's £50 gone. Waiting until the end of October to maybe win £2 is a waste of time, if you ask me.

Maybe he sees it as a form of entertainemt rather than a potential form of income - but I agre about the antepost bets being a waste for amounts involved

Well, if he can afford to lose it then fair enough, but he's obviously new to it and I'm just trying to say you can be bitten on the backside quite easily, and backing odds-on shots won't get you anywhere in the long run. Ante-post bets are a pain, especially for pennies. If you think Liverpool will win, why not put the money you used to bet on the F1 on Liverpool, and if they win, then use it to bet on the F1 :)

Thing is, i will watch every qualifying session and race, and follow all the news very closely, with f1, and motogp. Usually i just watch it to see how it pans out, with no people i would prefer to win. Now i hvae 3 racers i can root for so even if it is only £2 i should still get emotion out of these seasons.

Bet f1 and motogp because i wanted to, i bet on a few sports games later because i've never done it before. Highly doubt it will become habbit, although i may bet on 6 nations if i get any profit from liverpool :p I'm doing it online so it isn't as if i am in a bookies putting 50p on the desk lol.

I don't have loads of money, i can afford to lose a fiver on a bet, and the winings will get me a couple of extra pints down the pub so it is partial win-win. It also gives me a reason to tune in to the game and have a team to support.

I don't ever see this being a form of income lol.

Lol, i only bet on it as coral listed it as their number1 most played bet. I thought the masses can't be wrong right? They were wrong :p. I imagine coral made up for the loss they made on murray hehe.

Wolves aren't easy to break down at home, especially with a carp team like Liverpool taking them on.

Did warn you! :p

Being a sheep won't win you money, they could quite easily make that up you know :)
